History

“Flesh Wounds” was a syndicated column that appeared in several Western “hip urban weeklies” during the early nineties. It was originally created for the San Diego cultural review “Revolt In Style” and expanded (including the creation of Jessica Creager’s great artwork) for the Seattle “Scroll”.

The columns are augmented here by some longer articles not orginally part of the “Flesh Wounds” column:

“The Right To Break Silence” originally ran in the Seattle “Stranger” and their staff artist created the artwork for that piece.

“So Who’d You Kill?” was originally a front page feature in the San Diego “Reader”.

“Blood Brothers” ran in the SF Bay Area’s “East Bay Express”.

“MentiMemeMan” appeared in the outstanding Seattle music mag, “Voltage”.

“Pie Hit” debuted in the Seattle area’s “Eastside Week”

Thanks to: John Rayside, Trevor Watson, Matt Asher, the guys at the lamented PacRim Features, and of course Jessica Creager.
